If you live in London and use the tube, you'll know what this is all about.
It's the badge for tired legs, weighty bumps and for women who aren't showing but at risk of collapsing all over the joint!
Free, the badge is meant to alert people (who are 'quite comfy where they're sitting thank you very much') that you may need a seat.
They're also handy for people who have people wondering 'hmmm, is she pregnant or just plain fat'
I reckon I'll fall into the latter category later on, so have the badge in advance!
Finally, a seat on the tube! Anything that can get Londoners shifting on the tube is mighty powerful....Pregnancy has some perks I guess!
To get one send an email to babyonboard@tfl.gov.uk ,
or call 0845 330 9880
or
check out http://www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/transportaccessibility/1169.aspx and scroll to the bottom of the page.
Any opinions? Would you use one? Is there any point? Do people actually move if you need a seat?
